PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vinyl chloride resin composition which combines satisfactory electric insulation properties with satisfactory cold resistance, and an insulated wire using the same.SOLUTION: A soft vinyl chloride resin composition includes a plasticizer added to vinyl chloride resin. The plasticizer is a mixture of a first plasticizer composed of a phthalate or trimellitate and a second plasticizer composed of a cyclohexane dicarboxylate. All of a plurality of alkyl groups ester-bonded to the first plasticizer and a plurality of alkyl groups ester-bonded to the second plasticizer have the same number of carbon atoms, and the plurality of alkyl groups include a first alkyl group of a straight-chain structure and/or a second alkyl group of a structure having a side chain. An insulated wire 10 has an insulating coating 2 composed of the soft vinyl chloride resin composition. |
