PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photovoltaic power generation apparatus which can restrain the amount of infrared rays irradiated upon a solar battery in a simple configuration and can effectively release heat generated in the solar battery, making it possible to prevent a reduction in power generation efficiency due to a temperature rise.SOLUTION: A photovoltaic power generation apparatus 100 is composed of a solar battery panel 101 having a heat shielding sheet 130 disposed thereon via a ventilation layer 120. The solar battery panel 101 is composed of a plurality of solar cells 102 which convert optical energy into electrical energy. The ventilation layer 120 is formed in width in the height direction of a space between the heat shielding sheet 130 and a light receiving surface 102a of the solar battery panel 101, with four sides above the light receiving surface 102a left open. The heat shielding sheet 130 consists of a sheet body capable of preventing transmission of an infrared ray IR from sunlight SL irradiated upon the solar battery panel 101 and having heat shielding function to let short wavelength light SWL such as visible light shorter in wavelength than the infrared ray IR pass through. |
