PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a period until a current flowing through a light emitting element reaches a target current value in a light emitting element driving device using a PWM light control.SOLUTION: A light control element driving device 1 comprises a converter 2 for supplying power to an LED module section 7, and a light-controlling switch element Q2 for opening/closing a path of a current Iout flowing through the LED module section 7. During an on-period of the light-controlling switch element Q2, a feedback control is performed so that a current value of the current Iout detected by a current detection circuit 5 approximates a first target value. Also, during an off-period of the light-controlling switch element Q2, a feedback control is performed so that a voltage value of an output voltage Vout detected by a voltage detection circuit 3 approximates a second target value. The first target value is a predefined value, and the second target value is set on the basis of the voltage value of the output voltage Vout detected by the voltage detection circuit 3 in a period during which the light-controlling switch element Q2 is turned on. |
