PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network monitoring system tat is able to monitor a fault occurrence state in real time even when many alarms are issued.SOLUTION: In a network monitoring system, EMS servers collect alarm information transmitted by network elements (NE) and notify an NMS server. In a state in which many alarms are issued, each EMS server creates summary information including only part of the whole information included in the alarm information from the NE, and notifies the NMS server the summary information. The NMS server uses the summary information notified by each EMS server to monitor a fault occurrence state on a communication network in real time. |
