PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for a light-diffusing film which has excellent incident angle dependency and a wide light diffusion incident angle area related to transmission and diffusion of light, keeps an opening angle in a long diameter direction of light diffusion, and has an enlarged opening angle in a short diameter direction thereof, and to provide a light-diffusing film.SOLUTION: In the composition for the light-diffusing film which contains a high refractive index polymerizable compound of component (A), a low refractive index polymerizable compound of component (B) and a photopolymerization initiator of component (C), the component (C) is an aryl glyoxylate ester-based compound represented by formula (1).
