This mobile communication system, which contains an MBMS cell that supports PtM transmission of MBMS data and a non-MBMS cell that does not support PtM transmission of said MBMS data, has a user terminal that establishes a connection with the non-MBMS cell. Said user terminal sends the non-MBMS cell an MBMS-interest notification indicating that the user terminal wants to receive the aforementioned MBMS data.
