<p>This vehicle control system is provided with: variable damping force shock absorbers, the damping forces of which can be changed; a stroke speed detection means for detecting the stroke speeds of the variable damping force shock absorbers; and a frequency-sensitive control means for calculating a damping force control amount, said damping force control amount being larger the larger the ratio of a frequency scalar quantity of a prescribed frequency band on a low frequency side to a frequency scalar quantity of another frequency band on a high-frequency side, when the magnitude of the amplitude of an arbitrarily-defined frequency band of the stroke speed detected by the stroke speed detection means is treated as a frequency scalar quantity, and outputting the damping force control amount to the variable damping force shock absorbers.</p> |
