<p>The present invention relates to a malfunction prevention handle for a horizontal contact type window having a handle unit mounted on a sash and adapted to move a frame through the rotation thereof in such a manner as to allow horizontal moving units and a locking unit adapted to horizontally move the sash to be operated, the malfunction prevention handle including: a casing disposed at the inside of the sash; the handle unit adapted to be connected rotatably to a bearing provided in the casing; a pinion gear disposed at the internal space of the casing in such a manner as to be operated cooperatively with the handle unit rotated; a rack gear moved upwardly and downwardly in such a manner as to be engaged with the pinion gear, to which the frame is connected; a guide pin fixedly disposed on the rack gear; and a handle rotation prevention member having a rotation prevention plate whose portion protruded outwardly from the sash, the rotation prevention plate having a guide slot formed thereon so as to guide the movement of the guide pin, and the guide slot having a locking projection formed thereon so as to unmovably lock the guide pin to the guide groove.</p> |
