<p>A measurement control unit in a flow measurement device divides a sampling period (Tc) into at least three divisions, for example into four measurement blocks (Tb) of equal intervals by means of a measurement block division unit, and causes the flow in each measurement block (Tb) to be measured by a flow measurement unit. A flow calculation unit in the flow measurement unit calculates, for each sampling period (Tc), the average value of the flow values obtained in all of the measurement blocks as the flow value of the sampling period (Tc). Thus, the effect of pulsations can be more effectively reduced, and further improvement in flow measurement precision can be achieved in a flow measurement device using an inverse transit time difference method, such as an inferential gas meter.</p> |
