PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of reducing noise with high-dimension, in the pneumatic tire with polygonal blocks closely and densely arranged on the tread surface.SOLUTION: A land portion is partitioned on a tread surface 1 by a pair of circumferential main grooves 2 extending on both sides of a tire equator C and along the equator in a zigzag manner. The land portion is partitioned into at least five circumferentially arranged block columns L of polygonal blocks with five or more vertices by four or more circumferential thin grooves 3 extending along the equator in a zigzag manner and a number of lateral grooves 4 providing connection between the circumferential main grooves and the circumferential thin grooves and between the circumferential thin grooves. A symmetric arrangement of the polygonal blocks 5 with respect to the tire equator C is displaced between side regions R1, R2 across the equator in the circumferential direction of the tire by a phase difference of 0.2 to 0.4 times a pattern repetition pitch of the block columns. |
