The arrangement has two radiation sources (5) each with individually controllable power amplifier (5.1) which amplifies signal generated by a generator (2) and has microwave frequency. A unit is provided for radiating the amplified signal as a microwave radiation (11) into a working chamber (7). The generator stands in signaling connection with all the power amplifiers so that signal generated by the generator is applied to all the power amplifiers. The generator is tuned over a range of a predetermined frequency sector within the microwave frequency range. An independent claim is included for a method for heating a medium by microwave radiation. |
