PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform data transfer control while taking advantage of the performance of an external storage device.SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus 10 obtains performance information from an external storage device 60 connected through a general purpose interface 50 and performs data transfer control on the basis of the obtained performance information. Therefore, the electronic apparatus 10 can perform data transfer control while taking advantage of the performance of the external storage device 60. When performance information is not recorded to the external storage device 60, the electronic apparatus 10 make performance measurements and produces performance information on the basis of the measurement results, to record them to a user's area of the external storage device 60. |
