METHOD FOR CLASSIFYING GENOTYPE OF PSEUDOMONAS AERUGINOSA, AND PRIMER SET USED FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for classifying a genotype of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, appropriate for utilization in an actual industry (actual medical site), and a primer set used for the same.SOLUTION: This method for classifying the genotype of Pseudomonas aeruginosa comprises a step of classifying the genotype by detecting the presence or absence of (1) an open reading frame (ORF) constituting a genomic islet and (2) the ORF of a phage-originated gene on the genome of the Pseudomonas aeruginosa in an arbitrary order and by utilizing the combination of the presence and absence of these ORFs.
