PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hole-shape measuring instrument and hole-shape measurement method capable of measuring a hole shape for a flat head bolt in a short period of time.SOLUTION: The hole-shape measuring instrument includes a hole diameter measurement mechanism for measuring the diameter of a hole for a flat head bolt and a flat head depth measurement mechanism for measuring flat head depth. The hole diameter measurement mechanism is inserted into a constant part at a tip part, and is configured so as to be displaced in accordance with the diameter of the constant part. A hold diameter measurement rod 32 has a hole diameter measurement sensor 23 for measuring a displacement amount of the hole diameter measurement rod 32. The flat head depth measurement mechanism has a flat head depth measurement rod 31 which is inserted into a flat head part at a tip part, and is configured so as to be displaced in accordance with the flat head depth, and a flat head depth measurement sensor 24 for measuring a displacement amount of the flat head depth measurement rod 31. The hole diameter measurement rod 32 and the flat head depth measurement rod 31 are provided so as to be coaxial.
