PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative member which allows for ventilation between an attic and outer air, with easy construction procedure for installation and an excellent design.SOLUTION: A decorative member 2 located in the vicinity of an end of a roof board 5 allows a ventiduct to be formed between an attic and outer air. The decorative member 2 includes: a plate-like body 20 formed from a ceramic material, having a plurality of fitting grooves 23a and 23b extending in width direction on the rear face 22; and a ventilation member arranged on the rear face of the plate-like body, which includes an upper face part 25 and a lower face part 26 which are formed of thin plate materials having ventilation paths 27 and 28, an intermediate part 31 which connects the upper face part 25 and the lower face part 26 and is opposite to the outer wall of a house, and engaging parts 24a and 24b which are arranged at the upper face part 25 and the lower face part 26 and fitted in the fitting grooves. |
