PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-dimensional code reading device for making a calculation amount of feature pattern detection small.SOLUTION: The total sum of luminance change is calculated at respective scanning angles while scanning an angle of a luminance calculation line L (S4). Then, the angle of the luminance calculation line L when the total sum of the luminance change is the minimum is considered as an angle of a solid line pattern (alignment pattern), and an angle of the luminance calculation line L when the total sum of the luminance change is the maximum is considered as an angle of a dotted line pattern (clock pattern) (S5). Since the total sum of the luminance change is simple processing only for adding difference between luminance values on a straight line, a calculation amount is made smaller than in a conventional technique. |
