PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a supply amount of aeration air by stabilizing a water flow inside a treatment tank, and to suppress a strength load on the treatment tank that is a civil engineering structure to the minimum.SOLUTION: This treatment facility for wastewater includes: a treatment tank 5 bringing carriers C immobilized with microbes are into contact with the wastewater having flowed in from an inflow port 5A to biologically treat the wastewater; air diffusion devices 6 generating a swirl flow in the wastewater inside the treatment tank 5, and supplying oxygen; and a carrier separation device 1 which includes screens 2 wherein wire materials or rod-like bodies are arranged side by side, and wherein the screens 2 are inclined such that separation faces 2A of the screens 2 become obliquely downward, and are disposed in an upstream part of an outflow port 5B of the treatment tank 5. Two screens 2 of the carrier separation device 1 are disposed in a state that the back face sides the separation faces 2A, 2A of both the screens 2, 2 face each other such that a common drainage region T communicating with the outflow port 5B is formed, and the carrier separation device 1 including the screens 2 is supported by support legs 12 self-sustained from the bottom face of the treatment tank 5. |
