<p>PURPOSE: A carbon dioxide absorber containing biogenic amines and a method for removing carbon dioxide from exhaust gas using the same are provided to improve environmentally-friendly property and carbon dioxide absorbing rate and speed and to save the cost required to perform operational processes. CONSTITUTION: A carbon dioxide absorber contains a biogenic amine aqueous solution. Biogenic amines are prepared by the decarboxylation of free amino acids by a biological or chemical catalyst. The biological catalyst comprises a strain or an enzyme. The biogenic amines are at least one selected among putrescine, cadaverine, spermidine, spermine, histamine, tryptamine, beta-phenylethylamine, tyramine, serotonin, noradrenaline, dopamine, agmatine, and a mixture thereof.
