PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite formed by joining a base material composed of a resin molded body containing silicone-modified resin with another base material strongly with high durability, and to provide a method of simply manufacturing the composite.SOLUTION: A composite is formed by joining a first base material composed of a resin molded body containing silicone-modified resin with a second base material. Any one or more of ultraviolet radiation treatment, corona treatment and plasma treatment are applied to the surface of the first base material to be joined or the surfaces of the first base material and the second base material to be joined.
