PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a running cost of a portable cutting machine.SOLUTION: A front foot 33 is installed via a foot holder 32 at the lower part of a cutting machine body. A slider 34 is further installed at a location ahead of the front foot 33 at the lower part of the cutting machine body. When a member W to be cut is cut by a blade 14, the cutting machine body is tilted so that the blade 14 side is lowered. When the cutting machine body is inclined, a state that the front foot 33 is kept in contact with the member W to be cut is switched to a state that the slider 34 comes in contact with the member W to be cut. Then, through the slider 34 being slid on the member W to be cut so as to shift the cutting machine body shift ahead as shown by an arrow B, the member W to be cut is cut by the blade 14. When the cutting machine body is slid to shift in cutting, it becomes possible for the front foot 33 to be kept away from the member W to be cut, thereby damage to the front foot 33 is prevented so that reduction in a running cost can be achieved. |
