PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control system and a parameter protect setting method using a parameter value in a motor controller of manufacturing equipment at shipping from a plant as a pass word to thereby eliminate the necessity of pass word management or storing a pass word in a motor controller.SOLUTION: In addition to parameter values in a motor controller of manufacturing equipment at shipping from plant, a pass word for accessing to parameters has to be managed. When a pass word common to all motor controllers is used, in a case when the pass word is leaked to the outside, parameters in all motor controllers get accessible thereto. Contrarily, when a unique pass word is given to each motor controller, management of the pass words gets complicated resulting in an increase of management cost. The motor control system prevents the pass word from being leaked and eliminates the necessity of pass word management. |
