PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device that ensures stable dead-time compensation, reduces vibration and abnormal noise from a motor, and improves steering feeling.SOLUTION: When absolute values of phase current values are equal to or larger than a predetermined value and it continues for a predetermined time or longer, a dead-time compensation calculation means adds a dead-time compensation amount to each phase DUTY command value when the phase current values are positive, or subtracts the dead-time compensation amount from the phase DUTY command values when they are negative. When the absolute values of the phase current value are smaller than the predetermined value, dead-time compensation is not performed. |
