PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of supplying paper in accordance with a mode.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, an image forming apparatus has a plurality of paper-supplying parts, a setting means, an image forming means, and a preventing means. The plurality of paper-supplying parts supply the paper. The setting means sets up the paper-supplying parts designed for black-and-white printing. The image forming means prints a color image on the paper supplied from the paper-supplying part that is not set to be designed for the black-and-white printing by the setting means. The preventing means prevents color printing from being performed on the paper supplied from the paper-supplying parts that is set to be designed for the black-and-white printing by the setting means. |
