This vehicle control system is provided with: a traveling state estimation unit (32) (a sensor) that detects a state quantity representing a vehicle body posture; and a skyhook control unit (33a) (a controller) that controls the vehicle body posture according to the driving force of an engine (1) when the absolute value of the amplitude of the detected state quantity is less than a second prescribed value, and controls the vehicle body posture according to a generative force of a second posture control device instead of the driving force of the engine (1) when the absolute value of the amplitude is greater than or equal to the second prescribed value. |
