PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of properly notifying a user who has browsed a disclosed document of a change in the document.SOLUTION: A document management system that approves a document and manages the approved document, includes: disclosure setting means for making disclosure setting for the approved document so that users can browse the document; history storage means for storing a history of users who have browsed the disclosed document; browsing user acquisition means for, in response to a new application using information on the disclosed document, acquiring the users who have browsed the disclosed document that is the source of the used information, on the basis of the history of users stored in the history storage means; and notification means for notifying the users acquired by the browsing user acquisition means that the browsed document is to be changed.
