PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a lithium secondary battery having improved charge/discharge cycle characteristics.SOLUTION: A method for producing an anode 11 of a lithium secondary battery 1 comprises the steps of: mixing anode active material particles, a conductive metal powder which is not alloyed with lithium and the surface of which is at least partially covered with a fatty acid, and an anode binder to obtain an anode mixture slurry; and applying the anode mixture slurry onto a surface of an anode collector 11a and drying it to form an anode active material layer 11b on the anode collector 11a.
