PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing an yttrium-cerium-aluminum garnet phosphor with which warm-color white LED is made available.SOLUTION: A raw material including each of yttrium, cerium, and aluminum compounds, prepared to form a compositional ratio in which the molar ratio of cerium to the sum of yttrium and cerium is 4 to 15 mol%, and the molar ratio of aluminum to the sum of yttrium and cerium is 5/3 to 5.5/3, is granulated into particles with an average particle size of 5 to 100 μm, the particles are melted in high-temperature plasma, and generated particles are heat-treated in a non-oxidizing atmosphere for crystallization. |
