PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of power loss at a semiconductor switch.SOLUTION: The control device 20 for switched reluctance motor, controlled by switching an electric current running through a winding of each phase of a switched reluctance motor 53 with a semiconductor switch, controls so that the semiconductor switch is an on state when an electric voltage is applied to a body diode of the semiconductor switch in the forward direction and hence an electric current running through the body diode is brought into the semiconductor switch, thereby suppressing power loss at the body diode. |
