PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light-emitting element which enables current control, which can optimize a current density and which enables high luminance.SOLUTION: A semiconductor light-emitting element comprises: a conductive substrate 10; a conductive substrate structure including a first metal layer 21 arranged on a first surface of the conductive substrate 10 and a second metal layer 22 arranged on a second surface of the conductive substrate; and a light-emitting diode structure which is arranged on the conductive substrate structure and which includes a third metal layer 20, current control layers (12, 18) arranged on the third metal layer and each composed of a transparent insulation film 12 and a current control electrode 18, an epitaxial growth layer 14 arranged on the current control layers, and a surface electrode arranged on the epitaxial growth layer and including a wire bonding electrode. The semiconductor substrate structure and the light-emitting diode structure are bonded by using the first metal layer and the third metal layer. The current control electrode has such a density distribution that the density is higher at a region where the current control electrode does not overlap with the wire bonding electrode when viewed from a stacked direction of the epitaxial growth layer and the density is lower at an overlapping region. |
