PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope treatment instrument in which, when an insertion part is inserted into a channel of an endoscope and used, force to draw back an operation shaft member is efficiently transmitted to a distal end side.SOLUTION: An endoscope treatment instrument 40 includes: a soft sheath 51 which can be inserted into a channel 11 of an endoscope 10; an operation shaft member 52 inserted into the sheath movably forward and backward; a treatment part which is attached to a distal end part of the sheath and is connected to the operation shaft member and can compress the sheath in a direction of an axis C of the sheath when the operation shaft member is moved to a proximal end side; and an operation part provided on the proximal end part of the sheath, for moving the operation shaft member forward and backward. The sheath includes: a distal end side suppression part 58 which is provided on the distal end side of the sheath and diametrically enlarges when the sheath is compressed in the axial direction, and thereby suppress movement of the sheath in the axial direction with respect to the channel; and a proximal end side suppression part 63 which is provided on the proximal end side of the sheath and suppresses the movement of the sheath in the axial direction with respect to the channel at least when the sheath is compressed in the axial direction. |
