PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket gate machine with higher convenience, and further to provide a station service apparatus and a control method.SOLUTION: A ticket gate machine that is installed at a station and performs ticket examination processing with respect to an IC card comprises: reading out means for reading out entrance/exit information from the IC card; passage determination means for performing passage determination on the basis of the entrance/exit information; passage control means for controlling passage of a user on the basis of a result of determination by the passage determination means; communication means for performing communication with a window terminal installed at a station different from the station via a network; and window processing means for performing window processing with respect to the IC card on the basis of a control signal transmitted from the window terminal via the communication means. |
