PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil temperature sensor mounting structure of internal combustion engine capable of improving the outside appearance while protecting an oil temperature sensor using a simple configuration, and achieving miniaturization and slim structure of a vehicle body.SOLUTION: The oil temperature sensor mounting structure of the internal combustion engine 11 is for mounting the oil temperature sensor 25 to sense the oil temperature at each cylinder part 47 projecting upward from a crank case, wherein the upper portion of the cylinder part 47 is covered laterally with a body cover 44, and a head cover 82 is installed on each cylinder head 81 constituting the upper portion of the cylinder part 47. In the upper part of the head cover 82, a step 82a is formed which is positioned below the periphery and projecting laterally, and at this step 82a, the oil temperature sensor 25 is mounted in a position inside of the body cover 44 about the direction across the vehicle width. |
