PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel type foam coaxial cable capable of simultaneously achieving acceleration of a transmission speed and skew lowering.SOLUTION: A parallel type foam coaxial cable 10 includes: a pair or more internal conductors 1 juxtaposed and extended in parallel; a foam insulator 2 disposed so as to cover the internal conductors 1 altogether, whose cross sectional shape is an elliptic shape, an oval shape or a pseudo elliptic shape for which a plurality of curves are combined; a non-foam skin layer 3 disposed to cover the foam insulator 2, whose maximum thickness is the thickness in a major axis direction of the cross sectional shape of the foam insulator 2, and whose minimum thickness is the thickness in a minor axis direction of the cross sectional shape of the foam insulator 2; an external conductor 4 disposed to cover the non-foam skin layer 3; and an insulation jacket 5 disposed to cover the external conductor 4. The maximum thickness of the non-foam skin layer 3 is 1% or more of the major axis of the foam insulator 2. |
