PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-component developer improved in environmental stability of carrier charging performance.SOLUTION: The two-component developer includes a toner and a carrier comprising core particles having surfaces coated with a resin. The resin is prepared by using at least a vinyl ketone monomer having a cycloalkyl group or a phenyl group. As steric hindrance is further increased by the proximity of a bulky cycloalkyl group or phenyl group to a ketone group, hydrophobicity is enhanced, which suppresses environment-dependent variations in a charge amount. |
