A cable tidy comprises a flexible elongate backing strip 2 having an adhesive layer adapted to attach the cable tidy to a surface, and a covering layer 3 which can form an elongate channel adapted to house at least one cable, the channel running along the longitudinal axis of the cable tidy. The covering layer, which may be integral with the backing strip (see Fig 5), is releasably attached to the backing strip by a fastener, such as hook and loop fastener 8, 9, which does not reach the edge of the covering layer. The edge of the covering layer may act as a tab 27, allowing cables to be inserted at any position, or it may comprise multiple tabs (32, Fig 6). The cable tidy may be made of textile, can be cut to different lengths, may affix to objects such that it runs around corners and can be provided in a roll.
