摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly measure the axial eye length and the size of the anterior segment of an examined eye. <P>SOLUTION: The eye size measuring apparatus includes an interference optical system and an arithmetic operation control section. The interference optical system has a measuring light source for emitting low-coherent light, a light-path length changing member movably disposed for changing the light-path length of part of the light emitted from the measuring light source, and a light receiving element. The interference optical system irradiates the anterior segment and the ocular fundus of the examined eye with the low-coherent light and receives the reflection light from an examined eye as interfering light in the light receiving element. The arithmetic operation control section measures the axial eye length and the size of the anterior segment of the examined eye based on the interfering signal output from the light receiving element. The measuring light source includes a first light source for emitting first low-coherent light having a central wavelength of 750-1,100 nm for measuring the axial eye length, and a second light source for emitting second low-coherent light having a central wavelength of 400-700 nm for measuring the size of the anterior segment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
