PURPOSE: A system of controlling a horizontal transferring type electro-penetrative dehydrator and a method for the same are provided to uniformly maintain a dehydrated rate of a sludge cake per dehydrating operation regardless of a state of a sludge loaded on a dehydrating area of a dehydrator. CONSTITUTION: A system of controlling a horizontal transferring type electro-penetrative dehydrator consists of an electric circuit (110), an ammeter (120), a storage unit (140), and a control unit (150). The electric circuit includes a positive electrode plate (112), a negative electrode plate (114), and a power supply (116) in order to pressurize a sludge loaded on a dehydrating area. The storage unit stores a plurality of reference current values and corresponding voltage values which are applied to the sludge by the power supply right after a predetermined initial dehydrating time in order to uniform a dehydration rate of a sludge cake per dehydrating operation. The control unit controls the power supply to apply a predetermined reference voltage value to the electrode plates at a starting time of the initial dehydrating time, calculates the average current value, and controls the power supply. The average current value is the average of current values which are received from the ammeter during the initial dehydrating time. |
