<p>The rotor (36) has permanent magnets (48, 50, 52) whose magnetic fields are partially extended outside of the rotor and passed through passage surfaces (42, 46) of the rotor along a predetermined passage direction. The passage surfaces are formed to a large extent by field guide devices (68, 70), which comprise common contact surfaces (60, 62, 64, 66) in contact with magnetic north and south poles (N, S) of the magnets. The contact surfaces are larger than the passage surfaces. Magnetic flux density at the passage surfaces is greater than magnetic flux density at the contact surfaces. The permanent magnets are designed as ferrite magnets. The field guide devices are partially made of soft magnetic material i.e. ferromagnetic material, and designed as soft magnetic pole rings. An independent claim is also included for an electric machine.</p> |
