The remote control drive (1) has a thermally sensitive switching element (2) for switching the switching device. The thermally sensitive switching element comprises an expanding material chamber (21) for receiving an expanding material, and a piston element (22). A volume change of the expanding material causes a displacement of the piston element relative to stationary section of switching element. A cam (5) is provided to an operative connection between piston element and an actuating element of switching device.
