<p>A document processing apparatus performs document editing processing to locate a plurality of objects on a page. The document processing apparatus includes a generation unit configured to generate a synchronization field for an object to be located according to an attribute of any one of the objects located on the page, a retrieval unit configured to retrieve an index object from the page as a target having the attribute to be applied to the generated synchronization field, and a reflecting unit configured to reflect an attribute of the index object retrieved by the retrieval unit and a layout position of the index object in an attribute and a layout position of the object to be located in the synchronization field.</p> |
