PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular ceiling material capable of demonstrating a more excellent deodorant effect than the prior art, and a manufacturing method of the vehicular ceiling material of excellent production efficiency. SOLUTION: In the vehicular ceiling material 10, a reinforcing material layer consisting of a glass fiber mat 12 or a non-woven textile layer 16 for reinforcing a base material 11 is layered on the base material 11 for constituting the ceiling material, and a surface material 14 is provided thereon. The base material 11 is formed of a soft or hard polyurethane foam with polyisocyanate being impregnated as an adhesive, and a deodorant agent diluted with aqueous catalyst solution for promoting the reaction of polyisocyanate is coated on the reinforcing layer.
