<p>The invention relates to a lane changing system for a vehicle (A) with two exterior rear view mirrors including at least one video sensor (12) wherein the video sensor (12) detects objects in motion which are moving relative to the vehicle, including at least one analysis and interpretation unit per sensor or sensor group to determine geometry data and motion data of the object or objects sensed, at least one display unit for each sensor or sensor group. Two video sensors are installed at two sides of the vehicle with a view overlapping area (4) backside in the middle of the lane the vehicle is travelling on.</p> |
