PURPOSE: A method and a server for authorizing a user with human relation information are provided to prevent the damage of a leakage or a loss of a user ID in user authorization. CONSTITUTION: A server (150) comprises an identification information acquiring unit (310), an identification information comparing unit (320), and an authorization determining unit (330). The identification information acquiring unit acquires a relation information set when an authorization request signal is transmitted by a personalization electronic terminal. The relation information set of a user includes at least partial identification information among identification information about an acquaintance of the user and adds the information capable of identifying the acquaintance from other people to the identification information. The identification information comparing unit compares the relation information set acquired from the personalization electronic terminal to the relation information set by user stored in a predetermined database in advance. The authorization determining unit authorizes the user of the personalization electronic terminal based on a comparing result.
