<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of improving luminance of a displayed image further. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes a pixel electrode 14 provided to each of sub-pixels 21a to 21d of red (R), green (G), blue (B), and white (W) and applying a voltage to a liquid crystal layer 1, and a thin film transistor 5 connected to the pixel electrode 14 and driving the pixel electrode 14. Then the pixel electrode 14 of the sub-pixel 21d of white (W) is electrically coupled to the pixel electrode 14 of the sub-pixel 21b of green (G) so as to be driven linked with the pixel electrode 14 of the sub-pixel 21b of green (G). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
