Disclosed is a polarizing plate wherein a removable protective film is arranged on both sides of a polarizing film which is composed of a polyvinyl alcohol resin. In this polarizing plate, the release strength between the polarizing film and the protective films is within the range of 0.01-0.5 N/25 mm. The protective films may be self-adhesive and directly bonded to the surfaces of the polarizing film, or alternatively the protective films may respectively have an adhesive layer and bonded to the surfaces of the polarizing film through the adhesive layers. |
