<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to add pages corresponding to an electronic document by paper base without preparing a paper document corresponding to all pages of the electronic document. <P>SOLUTION: An image retrieval system 40 finds an electronic document corresponding to a scanned document from a document management system 20 based on images of respective pages of the scanned document read by a composite machine 30, and a similarity degree determination system 50 determines pages corresponding to respective pages of the scanned document from the electronic document. A document registration/update system 10 adds a page in the scanned document, where the corresponding page can not be detected in the electronic document, to a page position specified from the page where the corresponding page can not be detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
