Device for supplying electric power to equipment built into the floor of an aircraft cabin

The device has an electric harness containing an electric driver. A base plate is provided with an electrical contact that is electrically connected to the driver of the harness. The base plate is ready to cooperate with a card of an equipment e.g. seat. A mobile cover (7) ensures opening and closing of the base plate. An opening unit (40) is driven by assembly of the equipment in a fixing rail (4) of a floor for controlling opening of the mobile cover. An independent claim is also included for an aircraft.
