<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric braking device capable of allowing the braking force to reach the required value while preventing engine stall caused by the drop of battery voltage. <P>SOLUTION: The gradient guard is set, which applies the guard to the changing gradient of the required braking torque according to the drop of the battery voltage. The guard can thus be applied to the changing gradient of the required braking torque when the battery voltage is dropped.
