<p>The implant (90) is assembled of an inner part (92) to be positioned at the lower surface of the bone fragment and an upper part (94) to be positioned on top. Both parts (92, 94) are connected with a wire or suitable string (98) guided through openings (96a, 96b, 102a, 102b) and around the outer surface (100) of the implant (90). The outer ends (104a, 104b) of the fastener (98) are tied with a slip knot (106, 108) which can be pulled tight in order to move the parts (92, 94) towards each other, supporting the bone segments of the skull. The knot (106, 108) can be accommodated in a recess (110) in the upper surface of the upper element (94).</p> |
