PURPOSE: A file management apparatus and method thereof are provided to block the leakage attempt of important data by analyzing files which are leaked to outside. CONSTITUTION: A filter drive(110) senses a command which leaks a file to a movable storage apparatus, moves the file to an established storage area, and transmits file movement information to a driver controller(120). The driver controller transmits the file movement information to a searching engine unit. The searching engine unit scans information included in the file in order to confirm the information corresponding to a searching condition. The searching engine unit transmits a confirmation result to a driver controller. The driver controller transmits a processing condition to the filter drive according to a security policy. |
